We have a great opportunity for an Occupational Health Screening Nurse to join our dynamic and friendly team, delivering services to our NHS client in Guildford, Surrey.
The person we are looking for will be a dedicated and committed professional who is able to work independently as well being a great team player. Flexibility and a great attitude are important attributes.
The ideal candidate/s will have experience within the field of occupational health, ideally within an NHS environment, and will be able to work autonomously within this service.
You will deliver predominantly face to face assessments, undertaking pre-placement clearance, immunisations and vaccinations, health surveillance and fitness for work medicals as well as promote the health of all employees by developing and participating in health promotion programmes in conjunction with national health events and the requirements of the client.
Duties:
-Giving immunisations/vaccinations
-Taking blood
-Undertaking Mantoux and BCG clinics
-Needlestick/blood borne virus incident risk assessments and follow up
